For 25 years, Doe Valley Printing has been part of special moments and stories, providing promotional items for families, teams, churches, and businesses as they celebrate life’s milestones.
The story began in 2000 when Anita & Rob Remme moved to Elizabethton to help her father with his restaurant in Doe Valley. They started screen printing in the basement during their spare time. What began as a small hobby grew into a thriving business. When they moved to a new home along the Doe River, they built a shop on the property to support their growing business. Even after moving, the name stayed the same as a tribute to where it all began, in Doe Valley.
The business operated from their property on Riverview Drive until Hurricane Helene. The storm brought complete devastation on their shop, taking all records, equipment, and machinery. Yet Doe Valley Printing stayed resilient throughout their recovery. They refused to miss a customer deadline by partnering with their competitors to use equipment.
Today, Doe Valley Printing is writing a new story in our community! They purchased a historic building along the Tweetsie Trail to serve as their new office. The building, once known locally as a dry cleaner and originally a train depot, sat vacant for many years before being renovated and brought back to life by the Doe Valley Printing team. They officially moved into the building Jan 2025 and worked on renovations (while still serving their customers) until the grand opening in Sept 2025.
Doe Valley Printing is a family-run business with a team of 5, including their son Trevor, who has grown and represents the next generation of the company. They take pride in being a part of the community’s stories and milestones. From VBS shirts and celebration banners to logos for new businesses, they love being part of the stories that bring people together. They find joy is growing with families and serving customers for generations.
From a basement hobby to a 25-year legacy, Doe Valley Printing continues to prove that the strongest businesses are built on resilience, relationships, and a deep love for the community they serve.
