SEW CRAZY! Event
Fletcher’s Homemade is hosting a SEW CRAZY event! Our local gang of sewists for good causes, Sew Crazy, takes over the shop to make up mastectomy aprons. These aprons will be donated to local hospitals for those recovering from surgical procedures related to breast cancer. Mastectomy aprons hold the drainage tubes necessary after surgery. These aprons are a practical and thoughtful way to support breast cancer survivors. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Fletcher’s Homemade is proud to partner with this amazing group of volunteers. They will have kits ready to sew the aprons. Sign up to come to sew with us OR take a few kits home to sew and return them to the shop. This annual event is a fun way to meet other sewists and participate in a fantastic cause. Monetary and material donations have kept them stitching along for 11 years, so pitch in so they can keep going strong.
