Covered Bridge Jams – Hometown Heroes
July 18 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The Covered Bridge Jams summer concert series returns for its 12th year, bringing live music to Covered Bridge Park nearly every Saturday night from June through the end of August. Presented by the Elizabethton Parks and Recreation Department, Saturday, July 18th will showcase Daniel Grindstaff & the Uptown Troubadours, with special guest Trey Hensley.
Daniel Grindstaff and his world-class band The Uptown Troubadours have officially released their brand-new self-titled album, available now via Bonfire Music Group on all digital and streaming platforms. The highly anticipated project marks an exciting new chapter for the two-time IBMA-nominated banjoist, blending heartfelt storytelling, top-tier musicianship, and a deep respect for Bluegrass tradition.
GRAMMY® winner and reigning two-time IBMA Guitar Player of the Year Trey Hensley has been called a “musical phenom” by NPR, “a guitar-slinging superhero” by Bluegrass Today, “Nashville’s hottest young player” by Acoustic Guitar magazine, and “the Swiss Army knife of roots music” by WMOT Radio’s Craig Havighurst. Hensley’s artistry has received high praise from the likes of Merle Haggard and Marty Stuart.
NOTE: The location has been changed from Covered Bridge Park to Elizabethton High School (907 Jason Witten Way) due to the weather. As such, food trucks will not be available this week.
Performances will begin at 7 PM.
