The City of Elizabethton Parks and Recreation Department will host a 2021 Independence Day Celebration at Covered Bridge Park with special contests, pageants, games, concessions, Patriotic Ceremony, live music featuring Spank! The 80’s and a FIREWORKS FINALE! See below for more detail.
4:00 PM begins the Patriotic Bike Parade. Registration will be at 3:30PM at Covered Bridge Park. Decorate your bike, scooter, wagon (or any non-motorized vehicle as patriotic as you can go for a chance to win the 1st place trophy!)
4:30 PM is the Patriotic Pup Parade. Bring along your furry friend dressed for the occasion for a chance to compete for the top dog award!
5:00 PM Little Miss Firecracker Pageant. Registration is open now through Dancer’s Dreams Performing Arts Academy.
