Working Committees

Each member of Main Street Elizabethton has the opportunity to share their voice by getting involved with one of our five working committees:

Organization
Create a strong foundation for a sustainable revitalization effort, including cultivating partnerships, community involvement, and resources for the district.
Design
Supports the community’s transformation by enhancing the physical and visual elements of downtown while capitalizing on the unique assets that set the commercial district apart.
Promotions
Positions the downtown as the center of the community and hub of economic activity, while creating a positive image that showcases a community’s unique characteristics.
Economic Vitality
Focuses on capital, incentives, and other economic and financial tools to assist new and existing businesses, catalyze property development, and create a supportive environment for entrepreneurs and innovators that drive the local economy.
Merchants
Open to all downtown business and property owners, the Merchants Committee is a perfect starting point to learn about what is going on downtown, network with other business owners and find other ways to get involved with Main Street Elizabethton.
